We are excited to have Germaul Barnes teach a contemporary class at our Santa Rosa studio in February

Germaul Yusef Barnes is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer who is known for his recent choreography of the World Premiere of Marley as well as his award winning career as a principal dancer at the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, the tolada dance company among others. He is also known for teaching dance throughout Europe, American, and has distingusied himself with his work in Africa both as a choreographer and teacher. He formed viewistic dance school in 1991, focusing on contemporary improvisation for black men and Mr. Barnes works to promote and present multilayered dance performances and educational residencies to a wide range of students.

Classes will be offered at the New World Ballet Studio on February 3rd and 4th at 1:30pm and will have a fee of $20 each.
